Great sound design can juice up a scene!
Have you ever viewed a movie trailer or studio? You may think making a movie is simple, but that isn't the case! It demand plenty of effort, persistence and concentration. There's more than just the director, producers, scriptwriters, actors and crew who each have an important job to bring a film into being. They spend months or even years planning, practicing the acts, filming and editing it into a movie. They sometimes work long hours, and they are surprised at times as well.
So you may see actors in special suits to track their movements; workers setting up lights and cameras; makeup artists making the actor look like his or her character; animators on computers, crafting some cool visual. Every single member of the crew adds his respective part to a movie, thus it becomes an aggregate effort. The pieces that all connect together, what >>life>> is like a puzzle.
Excellent stories can be based on actual occurrence, a book, a myth or even the imagination of the author. They can even be humorous, morose, terrifying, or exhilarating. The key to that is telling the story in such a fashion as to engage listeners with staying interested in what happens next to those characters. They do so using tools such as pacing, dialogue, and visuals. Movie storytelling help us or have a better understanding of enjoying it.
Although filmmaking itself is not a new concept, the process behind it has significantly evolved over time. Silent movies, where no sound was used, to sound films, from black-and-white movies to coloured films and just like old technology developing into new, movies have developed with the time. They also reflect and affect our culture and society in many different ways. Just watching different movies from the world and other periods help in knowing about the world.
Films are not solely entertaining, they promote education and dissemination of thoughts as well. Movies have reflected our values and beliefs throughout history. They have discussed heavy topics such as war, poverty and equality. The good thing about movies is that they inspire us, brought us together but sometimes die with this too. We need to considerate about the films that we witness and create.
