PE stretch film is used for the protection & safety of diverse types of products. Our resin, linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) makes BURST different. Plastic comes in a variety of weather-resistant but affordable plastic which make this plastic highly durable, long-lasting and rip-proof. We want our film to be applicable for many different applications when we design it.
We combine various raw materials together to create our PE stretch film. We know that this is a crucial step since mixing the right ratio will make the film tougher and more functional. This is where we make use of the modern machines. They are built to speed up all aspects of the process while minimizing waste, a huge plus for Mother Nature. To prepare the materials we blend them together and heat at high temperatures fusing everything into a molten mass of material. Finally, we extrude the molten plastic through a flat die that sets the material into a film (or sheet) of modestly small thickness.
After the film melts, it is sent through a series of rollers. The rollers then stretch the film to the correct thickness and width. The stretching is referred to as orientation. Orientation is essential as it increases both the strength of the film and its elasticity (ability to stretch without breaking). Which is essential to manufacture top grade PE stretch film, utilized for such a number of purposes.
